Fumagalli - Remy standing walker

Remy is a fun and adjustable standing walker, designed to help children with motor difficulties learn to walk safely.

Use and target audience

  • Intended for children aged approximately 3 to 12 years , depending on the size chosen.

  • Suitable for rehabilitation, but also for travel at home or to school.

  • Its colorful, toy-like design encourages independent and enjoyable use.

Safety and learning to walk

  • The stable frame supports the trunk and pelvis to secure the child during their attempts at walking.

  • The wheels have a friction/locking system to adapt stability to walking work.

  • The front support limits the tendency to fall backwards.

  • An abductor saddle helps to avoid excessive crossing of the legs and feet during walking.

Comfort and adjustments

  • The supports can be quickly adjusted in height, width, depth and tilt , without tools, even when the child is seated.

  • The contact areas are padded with soft, breathable materials; the rubber handles promote a comfortable grip.

  • The structure facilitates transfer from a wheelchair or other assistive device.

Sizes and capacities

  • Size 1 : 3 to 6 and a half years old, maximum load 35 kg.

  • Size 2 : 5 and a half to 9 years old, maximum load 45 kg.

  • Size 3 : 8 to 12 years old, maximum load 55 kg.

The central objective is to give the child enough support to feel confident, while allowing them the freedom to explore, take steps and gradually develop their autonomy.
