Choosing the Suspension Type
Loopwheels Urban are available with two suspension options – Standard and Stiff – to provide the best possible comfort and protection according to your weight and usual activities.
The greater your weight and the higher your speed, the stiffer the recommended suspension will be. Ultimately, however, it is also a matter of personal preference.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Loopwheels suspension elements are manufactured from a premium multilayer composite incorporating carbon fibre. Carefully developed and tested, they provide optimal compression, excellent lateral stability, and exceptional strength and durability.
The three loops in each wheel work as a self-correcting system. This spring mechanism, positioned between the hub and the rim, continuously adjusts the suspension to changes and irregularities in the terrain. The rim remains rigid while the hub “floats” inside it, absorbing road shocks in real time.
This configuration also ensures smooth torque transfer between the hub and the rim, providing a ride that is both comfortable and efficient.
