Xcite2 — FES upper limb autonomy

Xcite2 integrated Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for task-specific functional movement was designed to enable clinicians to easily and efficiently apply multi-channel integrated FES during specific activities commonly performed in therapy.

How does integrated FES work?

Electrodes placed on the skin deliver controlled electrical impulses to activate weak or paralysed muscles and generate muscle contractions. This promotes nervous system activity and helps create optimal conditions for neuroplasticity.
